Inserting Your Bow
The following pictures illustrate how
easy it is to place your bow in the BowSlingBlind.
 |
Photo 1
1. Lay case down so that the “Open Side” is up and the
“Stabilizer Cut Out” is closest to you. |
 |
Photo 2
2. Hold Bow so the Stabilizer lines up with the Cut out in
Case and insert one cam end into case and then the other,
3. Insert Stabilizer behind string. |

4. Pull on both ends of the “draw string” at the
“friction lock”. (NOTE: Each case requires a break in period
and will conform to the shape of your bow. The first few
times may require helping the string around ends of case
near the bow cams.) |

5. [Optional] The “friction lock” can be used two ways: (1)
strings can cross through the friction lock (as in photo) OR
(2) go through together. For additional security, tie a Bow
knot in strings. (For easier removal you can tie only the
loop side of a bow knot) [Note: The draw string holds your
bow in, however, you will notice that there is no pressure
to push your bow out. If you store clothing items in the
case behind your bow you may want to tie a bow knot around
the friction lock.
6. [Optional] Your case has come with extra draw string that
you can shorten. In doing so it is strongly recommended you
tie a knot where you plan to cut before cutting to insure
proper fit. After cutting, the knots can be left to prevent
your string from sliding through the friction lock.
7. [Case Law] In States with case laws for transporting in
moving vehicle, there are two things you can do to insure
cooperation: (1) tie a full bow knot in the strings AND one
of the handles can be unclipped, wrapped around the bow and
clipped back in.
8. Use your BowSlingBlind and send us some ideas and
comments on how it has helped you save time, money, losses,
etc.
